Thank you for dropping by. My name is Dorothy Waluvengo.I’m a high school teacher of English and literature in Kenya. My love for writing begun way back when I was a 10yr old; that’s when most middle class Kenyan children are introduced to writing compositions in school. I remember writing my first composition and being recognized for it. I wasn’t very smart in class and the well written composition shocked my teacher. I’ve been writing since then.
I found solace in poetry. My childhood wasn’t the best; it wasn’t good. I was bullied and more than a million times physically and verbally abused by people who were supposed to protect me. Through poetry I managed to kill these people. I would in my imaginary world fall in the ashes from the fire they blew my way and rise up with their bullet in my hand then hand it back to them in pieces.
I hope you enjoy reading from me. Drop a comment, critique, share, and like my page.
